As the year draws to a close, I tend to get reflective and this year is no different. As we expanded our mission and welcomed new farmers, I feel grateful. I believe in the work we do. I love the farmers and I am happy to be a part of the growth I have seen. We recently made a few adaptations to our program. We are allowing individuals more choice in his/her day. We have seen a renewed sense of ownership and excitement. The change didn’t come without challenges, but the exceptional and dedicated staff members have embraced the day and continue to improve what we offer to our farmers.  As we move into the new year, our focus will be on more community outreach endeavors. We will be looking for businesses in the community to partner with and explore volunteer and recreational opportunities.
